Registration is now open. To register, please follow link to Thue & Selvaag Forum AS. A confirmation email containing all your registration information will be sent to your given email address following the appearance of the "Confirmation of registration" page. Note: when registering using the "invoice" option instead of the "credit card" option, an invoice, along with further payment instructions, will be sent to you within the next few weeks by the Thue & Selvaag Forum AS company.

All participants must make their own hotel reservations. Please follow link to Accommodation page. Blocks of rooms have been reserved from June 17 to June 21 for conference participants at special rates, and will be held until May 4th.

Meeting fee (price increase due to increased governmental taxes):

• 2500 NOK (approximately 310 Euro / 420 USD / 210 GBP) for students
• 3200 NOK (approximately 400 Euro / 540 USD / 270 GBP) for all other participants
• 1000 NOK (approximately 125 Euro / 170 USD / 85 GBP) for accompanying persons

For participants this will cover all lunches as well as the Opening Reception (Sunday, June 17), the Reception at the Oslo City Hall (Tuesday, June 19), and the Banquet dinner (Wednesday, June 20). For accompanying persons, lunches are not included.

Note that, after May 4, the registration fee for students and other participants will increase by 500 NOK; the fees for accompanying persons and the Pathema workshop (see below) will increase by 300 NOK.

The registration will be refundable until one month before the start of the conference (i.e., May 17), however with a penalty of 500 NOK. This applies to every kind of registration (participant, accompanying person, and Pathema workshop). After that deadline, there will be no refund at all.

NEW: A half-day training workshop will be given by the Bioinformatics Resource Center (BRC), The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR), before the official start of the Bacillus−ACT conference on Sunday June 17th, to introduce the new Pathema−Bacillus resource (projected release date April 2007) to the Bacillus scientific community. Conference participants may apply for participation in the registration process (separate registration fee of 700 NOK).

The workshop is limited to 40 participants, and following registration, potential participants may be subject to selection by the organizing committee, to ensure representation from different labs. For more information, please click here.
